What happened? The occupiers carried out 35 airstrikes, 3 missile strikes and 50 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems during the day of September 5.

Details. The enemy continues to focus his efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast and maintaining the temporarily captured territories of Kherson Oblast, part of Kharkiv Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Mykolaiv Oblast.

The General Staff notes that the night of September 5 to 6 began with missile attacks on civilian objects in the cities of Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka.

The enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of Bayrak and Asiyivka settlements in Kharkiv Oblast; Pryshyb, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novomykhaylivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Poltavka and Olhivske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Bila Krynytsia, Bilohirka and Kostromka in Kherson Oblast; and Velyke Artakove, Ternivka and Liubomyrivka in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The situation in the Volynia and Polesia sectors has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy continues shelling military and civilian infrastructure, namely:

• on the Siveria axis – the areas of Khrinivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Nova Huta, Sopych, and Myropillia in Sumy oblast were shelled.
• on the Kharkiv axis – Udy, Sosnivka, Svitlychne, Zolochiv, Prudianka, Velyki Prohody, Nove, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Kostyantynivka, Pryshyb, Husarivka, and Chepil;
• in the Slovyansk direction – Virnopillia, Brazhkivka, Ridne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Dmytrivka, Bohorodychne, Donetske, and Sloviansk;
• in the Kramatorsk direction – Kryva Luka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, and Spirne;
• in the Bakhmut direction – Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Zaitseve, New York, Yuryivka, Opytne, Vesele, and Mayorsk;
• in the Avdiyivka direction – Avdiyivka, Opytne, Pervomayske and Maryinka;
• in the Novopavlivka sector – Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Shakhtarske, Novomykhaylivka, Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Kostiantynivka;
• in the Zaporizhzhya sector – Zelene Pole, Vremivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Huliaypilske, Dorozhnianka, Novodanylivka and Bilohirya.
• in the South Buh sector – Mykolayiv, Novohryhorivka, Yakovlivka, Partyzanske, Kvitneve, Kyselivka, Shevchenko, Ternovi Pody, Pravdyne, Liubomirivka, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriyske, Myrne, Stepove, Novooleksandrivka, Pervomayske, Kobzartsi, Petrivka, Zarichne, Ivanivka, Tokareve, Olhyne and Shyroke.

The General Staff recorded deployment of enemy personnel and military equipment in kindergartens (Verkhniy Rohachyk), temples of the moscow Patriarchate (Chervony Mayak) in Kherson Oblast. Moreover, the enemy uses the Holy Trinity Church in Mala Komyshuvaha, Kharkiv oblast, as a field hospital.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy offensive attempts in the vicinity of Soledar, Zaytseve, Shakhta Butivka, and Spartak. Air defense forces shot down a guided cruise missile over Mykolaiv Oblast.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to carry out airstrikes, destroying the manpower, combat and special equipment, as well as military facilities of the ruscist – during the past day, the Air Force carried out more than 30 such strikes. As a result of the coordinated work of aviation and artillery, several platoon strongholds, about 5 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and an enemy artillery battery were hit. The losses of the enemy are being clarified.

In the waters of the Black Sea, the situation remains unchanged – the carriers of the enemy's Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles are still ready for use.
