Ukraine regained control of more than 700 square kilometers on the Kharkiv and South Buh axes

What happened? Ukraine regained control of the territory with a total area of more than 700 square kilometers in the Kharkiv and South Buh directions.

Details. “In total, our units in separate directions advanced deep into the enemy's defences from 2 to several tens of kilometers. A number of settlements were liberated. The total area of the territory which was brought back under the control of Ukraine on the Kharkiv and South Buh axes is more than 700 square kilometers,” Hromov said at a briefing at the Military media centre on Thursday.
According to him, as part of the defence operation in the Kharkiv direction which aimed to regain the lost territories, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the units of the National Guard and other security forces, have been conducting active actions in the specified directions since the beginning of the week.
In the Kramatorsk direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced up to 2 km deep. In the Slavic direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced up to 3 km deep, while conducting offensive actions, and liberated the village of Ozerne.
