On September 20, 8 ships with 195,000 tonnes of grain left Ukrainian ports

Details. On September 20, 8 vessels loaded with 195.7 thousand tonnes of agricultural products left Odesa and Chornomorsk ports. In addition, the bulk carrier BC VANESSA chartered by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) moored today. It will transport 30,000 tonnes of grain to Afghanistan, which is suffering from a food crisis.
In total, 650,000 tonnes of food have already been shipped to African countries as part of the initiative on the safe transportation of agricultural products. The government of Ukraine also decided to provide up to 50,000 tonnes of wheat as part of humanitarian aid to the population of Ethiopia and Somalia.
