What happened? The Yenakiyeve Iron and Steel Works stopped working due to the mobilization of workers.

Details. Another 200 to 500 employees of the plant are planned to be “enlisted”. For this purpose, the authorities of the “DPR” canceled the validity of previously issued documents on postponement/exemption from mobilization.
In addition, the russian army replenishes the ranks of its soldiers with “convicts” – a training camp was organised for them in the temporarily occupied Torez in Donetsk Oblast. “Recruits” will replenish the personnel of the Somalia Battalion, 100th Independent Motorised Rifle Brigade, and 9th Independent Motorised Rifle Regiment of the Armed Forces of the russian federation.
“Potential ‘contractors’ are selected based on physical criteria and the presence of combat experience. The criminal article and the term of imprisonment do not affect the selection. At the same time, there is a small number of those willing to sign the contract,” the directorate notes.
The military unit of the occupiers is located in the same city, where the residents of Donetsk Oblast, who fought against Ukraine, were supposed to come. They fled from Kharkiv Oblast and received leaves until September 17, after which they disappeared again and did not come to the gathering of russian soldiers.
The Chief Directorate of Intelligence points out that in Crimea, men were prohibited from leaving the place of registration without the permission of the military enlistment office. In order to receive it, it is necessary to inform the purpose of departure, the place of stay and the dates of return.
