Details. It is noted that the relevant operation began on October 1. The President emphasises that the Armed Forces have already de-occupied “dozens of settlements” and stabilised the situation. President Zelensky notes that there are successes in the eastern direction as well.
“The day will surely come when we will report on successes in Zaporizhzhia Oblast too – in those areas that are still under the control of the occupiers. The day will come when we will also talk about the liberation of Crimea,” the head of state comments.
Oleksiy Hromov, a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, clarifies that the defenders have already liberated 29 settlements in the Kherson direction. Instead, the enemy replenishes reserves, tries to attack and hold back the offensive of the Ukrainian troops.
