The Zaporizhzhia NPP was completely de-energised due to shelling by the russian military
Available supplies of diesel fuel for the operation of diesel generators in this mode will be enough for ten days

What happened? The Zaporizhzhia NPP was completely de-energised due to shelling by russian troops.
Source. Telegram channel of Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company.
Details. “Tonight at 00:59 due to another shelling by the russian troops, the last communication line – Dniprovska – with the 750kV power system of the nuclear power plant was damaged and went off. As a result, the Zaporizhzhia NPP was completely de-energised. Diesel generators were switched on automatically. The available supplies of diesel fuel for their operation in this mode will be enough for 10 days,” the message reads.
It is emphasised that there is a need to restore and resume operation of the communication lines of the ZNPP with the power system.
Energoatom believes that the plans to turn on power units in conditions of shelling and damage to all lines “are unrealistic.”
