Ukraine's expenditures during the war exceeded those that were planned for the entire year 2022 – an MP of the Verkhovna Rada
Expenditures from February 24 to October 15 amounted to 1.4 trillion UAH

What happened? The state expenditures in 230 days of the war exceeded those that had been planned for the entire year before a full-scale invasion.

Details. Expenditures from February 24 to October 15 amounted to 1.43 trillion UAH. The money was spent on:
- salary payments – 42.2%, or 605 billion UAH. Of these, salaries for military personnel amounted to 458.5 billion UAH;
- social welfare – 21%, or 301.4 billion UAH;
- purchase of military equipment, weapons, etc. – 13%, or 190.2 billion UAH;
- guarantees of medical care for the population – 6%, or 86 billion UAH;
- public debt service – 5.7%, or 81.6 billion UAH;
- transfers to local budgets – 5.6%, or 79.7 billion UAH.
At the same time, the draft state budget for 2022 from December 2, 2021 provided for expenditures from general and special funds in the amount of 1 trillion 499.5 billion UAH.
