The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south slowed down due to the rains, Reznikov states
The counter-offensive operation continues “step by step”

What happened? The advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south of the country has slowed down due to worsening weather conditions.
Source. Oleksiy Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, told Fox News, Interfax-Ukraine agency reports.
Details. “In the south, we continue our counter-offensive campaign as well. Certain weather conditions, in particular rain, are currently making us a little slower. But we are using the tactics of taking back our villages, meters and kilometers step by step, and we will continue to do that,” Mr. Reznikov explains.
The minister believes that it is not beneficial for the occupiers to conduct street battles in Kherson, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine control all the bridges over the Dnipro River in the area. “Staying in Kherson is a real risk for them, since they will not have the opportunity to escape, as they did in the Kharkiv direction, for instance, in Izium and other towns,” he adds.
