putin speaks about the “dirty bomb” in Ukraine for the first time, while Shoigu rings up the ministers of other countries
The Defence Minister of India urges “not to use nuclear weapons”, without specifying who exactly is threatening to do so

russian president vladimir putin, speaking to the participants of the meeting of the council of heads of security bodies and special services of the CIS countries, claimed that the USA allegedly did not want to see a connection between Kyiv's desire to obtain nuclear weapons and warnings from russia about the preparation of a provocation with a “dirty bomb”.

Details. “Now the USA is pumping up Ukraine with weapons, including heavy ones, ignoring the statements of the Kyiv regime about the desire to get nuclear weapons. It is also known about plans to use the so-called “dirty bomb” for provocations,” the russian dictator said.
For the past few days, Kremlin officials and propagandists have been spreading unsubstantiated statements that Ukraine is allegedly preparing to use a “dirty bomb” on its territory to blame it on russia.
A “dirty bomb” is a non-nuclear munition with radioactive content that spreads over a large area due to the force of a blast.
Western countries reacted to these insinuations by categorically stating that they did not believe russia's claims. Ukraine did not have and does not have such weapons, as well as intentions to use them.
putin's claims about Kyiv's alleged desire to obtain nuclear weapons do not correspond to reality as well.
Meanwhile, russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu continues to ring up defence ministers of other countries, warning about the “Kyiv dirty bomb.” Shoigu is trying to convince ministers around the world that Kyiv is going to use a “dirty bomb” on its territory and blame it on russia.
On Wednesday, he called Chinese and Indian defence ministers Wei Fenghe and Rajnath Singh.
“Today I had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defence of russia, Sergei Shoigu. We discussed bilateral defence cooperation, as well as the deterioration of the situation in Ukraine. I noted that neither side should resort to the nuclear option, as the prospect of using nuclear or radiological weapons is contrary to the basic principles of humanity,” India's Defence Minister tweeted.
Over the past few days, Shoigu has made calls to the United States, Great Britain, France, and Turkey with a similar purpose.
