URGENT: russia has announced that it is suspending its participation in the “grain agreement”

moscow is suspending its participation in the “grain agreement” due to the attack on the warships of the Black Sea Fleet in the annexed Crimea, the Ministry of Defence of the russian federation said.

The ministry accuses the “Kyiv regime” and “specialists from Great Britain” of launching the attack.
The agreement between russia and Ukraine on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports was signed at the end of July. It was concluded with the mediation of Turkey and the UN.
UPDATED: The operation of the “grain agreement” has been suspended for an unlimited period, as the russian side cannot guarantee the safety of civilian dry-cargo ships participating in the initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the russian federation stated.
Following the russian Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the russian federation repeated that “The Armed Forces of Ukraine led by British specialists” attacked ships and infrastructure in annexed Sevastopol.
The British Ministry of Defence called this accusation “a lie of an epic scale” aimed at diverting the world's attention from the “catastrophic situation with the illegal russian invasion of Ukraine.”
