What happened? President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of fundraising on the UNITED24 platform to form the world's first fleet of 100 marine drones.

Details. “The main task of marine drones is to protect the waters of Ukrainian seas and peaceful cities from cruise missiles launched by the russian troops from ships,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation states.
President Zelensky is also convinced that marine drones will help unblock the corridor for civilian ships carrying grain for the whole world.
UNITED24 recalled that on October 29, marine drones attacked russian ships in Sevastopol. This was the first naval attack in history carried out exclusively by unmanned means.
