russian troops stole about 15 thousand exhibits from museums of Kherson Oblast.

Details. It is noted that four trucks with looted property arrived in the temporarily occupied Simferopol city, Crimea.
In particular, according to the underground data, the russians took the property from Oleksiy Shovkunenko Kherson Art Museum. The museum also has a branch in Nova Kakhovka.
Among the collections of the museum are icon-painting of the XVII – early XX centuries, Ukrainian art of the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries. As well as works of contemporary artists.
In total, almost 15 thousand exhibits were taken out of the museum, as well as other cultural institutions of Kherson Oblast.
Not only cultural values were taken by the occupiers though, the Centre notes. russians, traditionally, stole sanitary ware, including toilet bowls, and household appliances.
Previously. The russians blew up the bridge at the Kakhovka HPP during the retreat, several bridges across the Dnieper River were damaged as well.
