What happened? Ukraine shipped 25,000 tonnes of wheat to Somalia under the GrainFromUkraine programme introduced by Volodymyr Zelensky.

Details. The third ship with humanitarian grain supply from Ukraine for countries on the verge of famine has departed from the port of Odesa. The first two ships with 55,000 tonnes of wheat are heading to Ethiopia. The foodstuff is expected to feed almost 200,000 people during a year.
In total, since August 1, 533 vessels have already passed through the “grain corridor”, exporting 13.3 million Ukrainian agricultural products to Asia, Europe and Africa.
