Ukrainian banks have agreed on “ATM roaming”: cash withdrawals will be possible without additional fees
It is planned to cancel the commission in commercial banks for cash withdrawals from cards of other banks

On the initiative of the National Bank of Ukraine, the largest banks of Ukraine have agreed to establish “national ATM roaming” – this initiative is to introduce the same fee for cash withdrawals from ATMs of different banks.
Source. Oleksiy Shaban, the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, in a comment for Ukrainian Radio, Suspilne reports.
“Cash withdrawal can become almost the main operation for such branches, so we pay attention to it. We welcome the initiative of large banks that have announced the so-called ATM roaming. The idea is that all banks set the same cash withdrawal limits for cardholders of other banks as for their customers,” the official said.
According to him, the limit can be 10-20 thousand hryvnias.
“We believe that this amount is enough not only to meet current needs, but also to form a certain cash reserve,” Oleksiy Shaban said.
At the same time, it is planned to cancel the commission in commercial banks for cash withdrawals from cards of other banks.
“This is already happening. Two weeks ago, there was such an idea, and today we have already received from ten banks-owners of ATM networks the information that the fees for cards of other banks for the withdrawal of funds have been canceled. That means that one can use this ATM as an ATM of his bank,” the Deputy Head of the National Bank explained.
