Ukrenergo: Russian missile attack on December 29 did not increase the power deficit in the power system

What happened? The missile attack of russian troops on December 29 did not worsen the power deficit in the power system of Ukraine.

Source. The press service of Ukrenergo.

Details. "As of December 30, the power deficit in the power system is at the same level as before the 10th massive russian missile attack," the statement says. The power system resumes normal operation as planned. Power generation continues to increase.

"At the same time, due to hits to some power facilities, the situation in the Southern and Eastern regions remains difficult. Repair crews together with the generation and regional power companies are working to repair the damage", Ukrenergo reports. Consumption limits have been introduced in all oblasts. The excess of them may lead to the need for emergency shutdowns.
