General Staff: Enemy focuses on offensive in Bakhmut sector
Adversary is trying to take full control of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts
What happened? The enemy, trying to take full control of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, focuses his main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction.

Details. The enemy is trying to improve his tactical positions in the Lyman and Avdiyivka sectors, reinforcing the groupings in the Novopavlivka sector with units redeployed from the Kherson direction.
Over the past day, the units of the Defence Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the vicinity of the following settlements:
- Stelmakhivka, Makiyivka, Ploshchanka, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast;
- Rozdolivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Kurdiumivka, Avdiyivka, Maryinka in Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day the enemy launched 6 missile and 52 air strikes, and carried out 77 MLRS attacks. All 6 missile and 30 air strikes were launched against civilian infrastructure. In addition, all 27 Shahed-136 UAVs used by the enemy were shot down by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
