Skibitsky: russia is running out of Kinzhal missiles, so it does not fire them
Kremlin needs them "to intimidate the world"

Representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky explained why, according to the Ukrainian side, russia does not use the latest hypersonic missiles Kinzhal in the war.
Source. His interview with RBC-Ukraine.
Details. According to him, russia is facing technical difficulties when using such advanced weapons. In particular, there are problems with carrier aircraft – MiG-31.
Mr. Skibitsky recalled that on December 25, at the airfield in Belarus, the engine of one of the russian MiG-31s had caught fire. This is not the only problem though.
"In addition, they do not have that many Kinzhal missiles. If they fire them too, then simply won’t be anything to scare the world with. They are now using Kinzhal missiles to demonstrate and intimidate that they have such weapons that no one can shoot down. Accordingly, they maintain tension regarding the possibility of using these weapons not only against us, but also against other European countries," said the representative of the military intelligence of Ukraine.
It is not known exactly how many units of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles are in the arsenal of russia, but it is obvious that at this stage moscow is trying to protect it. Earlier, international military experts said that russia would face big problems in the production of the latest weapons due to sanctions and the cessation of supply of chips and other electronics.
