Overnight, Ukrainian air defence shot down 24 Shahed drones, 15 of them – over Kyiv

What happened? On the night of January 26, Air Defence Forces shot down 24 Iranian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones.

Details. It is noted that the launches of attack drones were carried out from the east coast of the Sea of Azov. According to preliminary data, the russians used 24 drones, which means that the defenders destroyed all the Shahed UAVs. Most of them were shot down over the central part of the country.
The Kyiv City Military Administration adds that 15 drones were shot down over Kyiv at night. There were no casualties and no hits on infrastructure facilities.
