Emergency power cuts continue in Odesa Oblast

What happened? The deficit in the Ukrainian power system remains at the same level as on Saturday. Currently, one of the units of a thermal power plant is under repair for technical reasons.

Details. "Accordingly, the amount of electricity generated in the system has decreased. Due to this, all oblast power distribution companies have been informed of slightly reduced consumption limits that are valid during the day," the statement says.
"The restoration of energy infrastructure damaged during the massive attack on January 26 is underway. Emergency power cuts are still in effect in Odesa Oblast. The scheme of planned power supply to the oblast is being resumed," the statement reads.
Previously. To recap: The russian Defence Ministry admitted that it had launched "massive missile strikes" on Ukraine's energy infrastructure and said it had been done in order to stop the supply of Western weapons.
