Enemy suffers heavy losses while advancing in the Lyman and Bakhmut sectors – General Staff
Adversary conducts unsuccessful offensive in Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka directions
What happened? The enemy does not cease offensive operations on Lyman and Bakhmut axes. He suffers heavy losses. The occupiers conduct unsuccessful offensives in the Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka directions.

Details. During the day of January 31, the occupiers launched 5 air and 6 missile strikes, and conducted more than 65 MLRS attacks. Civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson oblasts was damaged.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled attacks of the occupation forces in the vicinities of Yampolivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Blahodatne, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, and Paraskoviyivka in Donetsk Oblast.
Russian forces keep suffering losses. Thus another military hospital was set up in the vicinity of Novoivanivka, Luhansk Oblast. It provides treatment to about 100 russian servicemen. The severity of their injuries is usually downplayed and not accounted for in medical records. After being rendered minimal aid, they are sent back to the front line.
