Starting next week, lamps can be exchanged at Ukrposhta offices in all district centres

What happened? Within a week, since the beginning of the incandescent lamps to LED lamps exchange programme, Ukrainians have exchanged one million lamps.

Details. Ukrposhta notes that lamps were exchanged the most actively in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv. In just one week, Kyiv residents exchanged more than 162,000 lamps, Dnipro residents – more than 88,000, Kharkiv residents – 80,000, and Lviv residents – 69,000.
"In the statistics we see, people who came to Ukrposhta offices without prior registration were mostly taken into account. Of course, over the week, more people expressed their readiness to exchange the lamps: those who registered via Diya started receiving confirmation of the exchange only on Wednesday, some have already come to the offices, and some will receive the lamps next week.
District centres are to be ready: starting from next week, lamps can be exchanged at Ukrposhta offices in all towns, not just in oblast centres," comments Ihor Smelianskyi, CEO of Ukrposhta.
By the end of February, thanks to Ukrposhta's mobile offices, the lamps are to reach even the smallest villages across the country.
