Rada exempts imported copters, thermal imagers and HTs from customs duties and VAT – Zhelezniak
Preferential conditions will be valid until the end of martial law, but no longer than until January 1, 2024

What happened? The Verkhovna Rada has adopted draft laws No. 8360 and No. 8361 on exemption from customs duties and VAT on the import of copters, thermal imagers, collimators, and night vision devices. 331 and 326 MPs voted in favour, respectively.

Details. According to the MP, at the request of volunteer organisations, handheld transceivers were added to the list. It is worth noting that the preferential conditions also apply to goods that are transported (sent) to the customs territory of Ukraine in international postal and express shipments. These rules will be in effect until the end of martial law, but no longer than until January 1, 2024.
