Ukraine nationalizes factories of Russian oligarch for UAH 10 billion
Deripaska managed enterprises through controlled entities in different regions of Ukraine

Based on the materials of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the claim of the Ministry of Justice to transfer enterprises owned by Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to the state ownership of Ukraine.
Source. This was reported by the press service of SBU.
Details. The court's decision concerns the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, as well as the Hlukhiv Quartzite Quarry, Khust Quarry, and Zhezheliv Quarry mining companies.
The value of the property transferred to Ukraine is over UAH 10 billion.
It was established that Deripaska, who is a member of the inner circle of the military and political leadership of Russia, managed the enterprises through controlled commercial structures in different regions of Ukraine.
In this way, the Russian oligarch tried to conceal his relationship to Ukrainian assets.
The SBU officers exposed the scheme and initiated the transfer of 100% of the Russian property to the revenue of Ukraine.
