Border guards stopped 6 attacks on Bakhmut and launched a counterattack.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In the battles on February 19, border guards and mortar launchers repelled an enemy infantry attack. In the evening, in the suburbs, the defenders stopped the advance of about 20 Wagner servicemen who had entrenched themselves and were waiting for fire support.

Later, border guards and scouts in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine counterattacked the enemy. In close combat, they killed 6 invaders, injured 9 more, and the rest of the ruscists fled.

Previously. Border guards captured a russian stronghold near Bakhmut. The defenders killed 5 enemies and captured a Wagner soldier.
