The Verkhovna Rada supported the proposal to dismiss employees of strategic enterprises for cooperation with russia
Bill 7731 was adopted as a basis, 245 MPs voted in favour

Members of the Verkhovna Rada have adopted as a basis amendments to the Labour Code to establish additional grounds for termination of an employment contract at the initiative of the employer.
This was announced by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Financial Policy.
The authors of the bill No. 7731 (Halyna Tretiakova, Serhiy Shvets, Anatoliy Ostapenko and others) propose to allow employers to dismiss employees working at state-owned facilities of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state and/or critical infrastructure facilities for supporting the russian federation.
In addition, the MPs added to the grounds for termination of an employment contract the entry into force of a court verdict, which "led to a loss of confidence in the employer" and the employee's failure to comply with internal regulations.
