The Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to drive a wedge into the russian front in the south as part of a counteroffensive.
This is reported by Vadym Skibitskyi, representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian intelligence spokesman adds that Ukraine will be ready for a counteroffensive in the spring. He notes that the specific time of the offensive depends on a number of factors, including the supply of Western weapons.
"We will stop only when we restore the country to its 1991 borders," Mr. Skibitskyi emphasises.
