Finland is preparing the 14th aid package for Ukraine - Prime Minister Sanna Marin

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, who arrived in Kyiv on Friday, said that almost everyone in her country supports Ukraine, and Finland is preparing the 14th package of assistance to the Ukrainian army.

"Finland recently decided on the 13th military aid package, including heavy weapons. Our military support has reached 750 million euros, making Finland one of the largest suppliers of weapons to Ukraine," said Sanna Marin. – "We are also training the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a member of the European coalition and will soon start training as part of an EU training mission. We are already preparing our 14th military assistance package."
At a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Sanna Marin assured that all political forces in Finland are in favor of helping Ukraine.
"In their election programs, no one says that we should stop helping Ukraine. On the contrary, everyone says that we need to support Ukraine even more," Marin said.
Finland will hold parliamentary elections in mid-April.
For his part, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Finland for the defense support packages provided to Ukraine, as well as for its effective participation in the tank coalition.
"I am confident that we will continue to strengthen this area of our cooperation for the sake of the interests of both peoples, our independence and sovereignty – Ukraine, Finland and our European neighbors," he said.
The parties also discussed the issue of increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation.
"It is important to jointly prevent the terrorist state from trying to circumvent EU sanctions through trade with third countries. First of all, this concerns goods that are important for the military-industrial complex of the terrorist state and its other industries that directly support and sponsor Russia's war," the President emphasized.
