Ukrainian Prosecutor General: politicians should "think twice" before dealing with putin after arrest warrant was issued
British Secretary for Justice calls the warrant a "historic moment" in the war

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin has said that the arrest warrant for russian dictator vladimir putin means that civilised politicians will have to "think twice" before dealing with him.
The russian President will now be "afraid to travel" outside of russia due to fear of extradition to the international criminal court, said Andrei Kostin.
Reacting to the Hague tribunal's order, Mr Kostin said:
"This means that every politician who considers himself civilised and looks to the future should think twice before dealing with the russian President or his supporters, and before shaking hands with them or sitting down to negotiate."
The UK Secretary of State for Justice called the arrest warrant for putin a "historic moment" in the war.
According to Dominic Raab, the decision of the Hague Tribunal will make it difficult for President putin to move around the world in the short term.
He pointed to the "perpetrators of the massacres" in Yugoslavia and Rwanda as examples of people who have been put on trial by the International Court of Justice.
"I suppose that for many of the victims, any international court will not ease their pain – many died. But I think it shows that we, as an international community, do not accept impunity," he stressed.
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs joined the Western leaders welcoming the court's decision.
"No one who is responsible for the crimes committed by russia in Ukraine, regardless of their status, should escape justice," the ministry said in a tweet.
