The VRU Committee approves appointment of Oksen Lisovyi as Minister of Education of Ukraine
When Shkarlet was appointed, however, the committee abstained from a positive decision

The Verkhovna Rada Committee has approved the appointment of Oksen Lisovyi as Minister of Education of Ukraine.
This was announced by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, MP from the Holos (Voice) party.
The MP recalled that when Mr. Shkarlet had been appointed, the committee had abstained from making a positive decision.
In addition, yesterday the relevant committees approved the appointment of Oleksandr Kamyshyn as Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine and Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, as Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology.
"So all three candidates are ready for voting at the next plenary session. There are enough votes for all of them," Mr. Zheleznyak assured.
