The heating season is coming to an end in Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Volyn, and Vinnytsia oblasts.
This was announced by Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz.
He emphasised that the local authorities had made the relevant decision, so the energy company had already started disconnecting customers from heating.
Mr. Chernyshov added that weather conditions allowed Ukraine to complete the heating season earlier than initially planned. Naftogaz expects a few more days of cool weather, after which the heating season will gradually end in other regions.
Previously. Mind reported that DTEK had launched a repair campaign to prepare TPPs for the next heating season. Over the past six months, the company's thermal power plants have been attacked by the enemy 29 times.
