Reznikov demonstrates combat vehicles provided by the United States
Assistance from Western partners continues to arrive

Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has posted a video of Ukrainian troops training with Stryker and Cougar combat vehicles provided by the United States as part of a billions of dollars in military aid.
"The vehicles are now in the capable hands of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. We took them for a test drive. I am glad that the best soldiers in the world are getting the best vehicles from our partners," he wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Took them for a test drive. I’m glad that the best soldiers in the world are getting the best vehicles from our partners.
They will bring us closer to victory.

Stryker is an eight-wheeled armored combat vehicle. In January, the Pentagon announced that it would send 90 Strykers to Ukraine.
Cougars are mine-resistant vehicles that are protected from ambush attacks. The US Department of Defense announced that it would send 37 of them to Ukraine in December.
Earlier this week, Reznikov shared a photo of a variety of Western equipment assembled at an undisclosed location in Ukraine, including British Challenger 2 tanks, Roshel Senator armored vehicles, and German Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
Background. Earlier, Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning a counteroffensive in several directions at once.
