Slovakia has handed over all 13 of its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
This was announced by the country's Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď.
It is noted that 4 aircraft were handed over to Ukrainian pilots in March this year, and the rest were delivered later. The delivery was carried out by land with maximum security.
"Many thanks to all the components involved, because in such cases it is a really important and complex logistical operation," Naď said.
Previously. Mind reported that Germany gave Poland permission to transfer 5 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. Previously, these aircraft belonged to the GDR, so German approval was required.
