Beer production volumes are recovering in Ukraine
Ukrainian producers brewed 10 million tonnes more beer in the first quarter of 2023 than during the same period last year

In the first quarter of 2023, Ukrainian producers brewed 27.6 million decilitres of beer, compared to 17.1 million decilitres during the same period last year.
This was reported by PJSC Ukrpyvo, the industry organisation of brewers and producers of soft drinks.
According to Halyna Korenkova, the organisation's CEO, the expert estimate of beer production in Ukraine (except for non-alcoholic beer with a volume fraction of alcohol up to 0.5%) for the first three months of 2023 was 27.6 million decilitres, or 142.2% compared to the same period in 2022.
It is also noted that 57,300 tonnes of malt were produced in the reporting period, or 174.7% of the volumes in January-March 2022.
