Crypto exchange Binance has allowed deposits to be made using any bank card issued in russia, including Mir, Visa and MasterCard.

The support team told Forbes that russian customers can deposit funds using a Qiwi wallet. "This feature has been active for some time. It is in test mode, so it is not yet available to all users of the platform. However, most Binance users can already make transactions using the Qiwi wallet," they said.
In March last year, after the start of the russian invasion of Ukraine, Binance announced the suspension of transactions using Mastercard and Visa bank cards issued in russia. The exchange also banned russian citizens from transactions in dollars and euros through its P2P (person-to-person) money transfer service due to EU sanctions.
A few days ago, Binance removed the 10 thousand euro limit for russian accounts.
At the same time, a representative of the crypto exchange assured that the platform still adheres to all sanctions against russia: access is denied to people and organizations that have been blacklisted by the international community.
However, Binance's legal entities are also registered in jurisdictions that have not joined the sanctions against russia, says a source familiar with the situation. According to him, this way the exchange can serve russians and is "legally clean."
According to Chainalysis statistics, russia ranks 9th in the world in terms of investment in cryptocurrencies and 2nd (11.9%) in terms of the population's involvement in the purchase of digital assets.
