Last week, Danish Prime Minister Matthe Frederiksen also announced that such negotiations were underway.
According to Rutte, some EU institutions and Washington are also involved in the discussion.
The Dutch prime minister made it clear that he is optimistic about the outcome of the talks, recalling that the issue of howitzers and tanks also required discussion and was eventually agreed upon.
During the visit, he intends to convince the Brazilian government headed by Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who has so far criticized the West for military aid to Ukraine.
According to Mark Rutte, the future of the whole of Europe depends on Ukraine's success in this war.
"We must help Ukraine in this fight. If Putin succeeds in Ukraine, and I don't think he will, he will not stop there. People are worried about their own security in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and all over Europe," Rutte said.
Background. To recap, Zelensky called on Belgium and the Netherlands to speed up the supply of armored vehicles and aircraft to Ukraine.
