Ukrainians can receive funds for repairing war-damaged housing: how to apply

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched the eRecovery programme: submit an application in the Diia app and receive funds for repairing damaged housing.

This was announced by the ministry's press service.

Now, Ukrainians whose homes have been damaged due to military action can submit an application in the Diia app and receive funds for repairs under the eRecovery programme. The maximum assistance amount is 200,000 UAH.

The service is available if the housing is subject to restoration and has not been fully repaired. The funds can be spent on building materials or services of contractors participating in the programme.

To receive assistance, you need to report damaged property in the Diia app, open a specialised eRecovery account in one of the participating banks of the programme, fill out an application for assistance in the Diia app, check and submit it for processing.

After this, the local government will send a commission, which will conduct a survey of the damaged property, document the damage and determine the amount of compensation.

Background. Ukrainians will be able to choose priority objects for restoration in the Diia app.
