As noted in the report, the pilot training program goes hand in hand with the work on providing Ukraine with F-16 fighters, which the UK is conducting with other countries.
In addition, the British authorities have decided to send Ukraine hundreds of new long-range strike drones with a range of more than 200 kilometers, the British government said in a statement,
"Today, the Prime Minister will confirm the United Kingdom's continued provision of hundreds of air defense missiles and other unmanned aerial systems, including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200 kilometers," the statement said.
It is noted that all this will be delivered in the coming months as "Ukraine prepares to strengthen its resistance to the ongoing Russian invasion."
As a reminder, on May 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to London to meet with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
"Today is London. The UK is a leader when it comes to expanding our capabilities on the ground and in the sky. Today, this cooperation will continue. I will meet with my friend Rishi. We will hold substantive talks one-on-one and in delegations," Zelensky wrote on Monday morning.
