Defenders have successfully carried out counteroffensive operations on the western outskirts of Bakhmut.
This is reported by the press service of the 3rd Independent Assault Brigade.
The breakthrough strip was 2000m wide and 700m deep. Thus, as explained by the brigade, the soldiers have created a springboard for further counterattacks.
At the same time, the defenders eliminated at least 50 invaders dead and up to 100 injured, 4 more servicemen were taken captive. In addition, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed enemy reserves on the Bakhmut axis, including several russian ammunition depots.
Background. The aggressor is beginning to understand that the initiative in the Bakhmut area is shifting to Ukraine. The representative of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Cherevatyi, stresses that the russians do not have any "ammo hunger".
