Malyar: Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced by 500 meters in some parts of the front near Bakhmut

Russian troops brought most of their reserves to Bakhmut and significantly strengthened the Bakhmut group. However, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all enemy attacks within a day and control the southwestern part of Bakhmut.

"The enemy has been attacking Bakhmut all day today. All attacks were repelled by our defenders. As of now, we control the southwestern part of Bakhmut. The enemy also attacked the outskirts north of Bakhmut. The attacks were repelled. In some areas, our troops have advanced 500 meters," she wrote in her telegram channel.
According to her, fierce fighting took place in the southern suburbs of Bakhmut throughout the day. The enemy went on the offensive and tried to regain the lost territories, but suffered losses and failed to fulfill their tasks.
"In some areas our troops advanced by 1 km. The defense of Bakhmut and its suburbs is fulfilling its military objectives. We are currently gaining time for certain planned actions," emphasized Malyar.
