Volodymyr Zelensky has enforced new sanctions against russia.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the President.
Restrictions have been applied to 51 individuals and 220 legal entities. The list includes railway sector companies, such as branches of russian Railways, and leaders of sanctioned companies – the head of JSC MIT Andriy Sabaydash, Kostiantyn Maymeskul from MIT Geomatics, the CEO of MIT Geomatics Andriy Gaysenok, and others.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with informing the competent authorities of the EU, the USA and other countries about the application of sanctions, and to raise the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures with them.
Background. Mind previously reported that Japan had strengthened sanctions against russia. The list now includes another 95 individuals and legal entities.
