The Cabinet of Ministers has found 1.5 billion UAH for the urgent construction of two new main water conduits
This is intended to supply Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, and Marhanets with drinking water

The government has worked out a decision to allocate 1.5 billion UAH for the construction of two new main water conduits. This is intended to provide Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol and Marhanets with drinking water.
This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, the funds will be allocated from the Recovery Fund.
The new water pipelines will be Karachunivske reservoir – Kryvyi Rih – Pivdenne reservoir and Marhanets – Nikopol, Khortytsia – Tomakivka.
In addition, the government decided to allocate nearly 846 million UAH to Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts for meeting the regions' needs for drinking water.
Background. The Head of the Ministry of Environment noted that up to 1 million Ukrainians might be left without water. This is because the water utilities that supplied these residents will lose access to water intake from the Kakhovka reservoir.
According to Zelensky, as a result of the russians undermining the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, problems with drinking water will not only be in the flooded areas, but throughout the region.
