In Kyiv, there are plans to outfit 3000 shelters with automated opening systems.

This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCMA).

It is noted that the respective systems are already being tested in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. Along with this, the city government plans to purchase and install an additional 200 modular precast concrete quick-deployment shelters.

"The enemy's use of ballistic weapons is prompting us to create additional shelters within operational reach for people, primarily in the city's residential districts," added Deputy Head of the KCMA, Petro Panteleev.

Background. Earlier Mind reported that the situation with shelters in Kyiv remains critical. Among a third checked, only 55% are fully ready for use.
