Slack messenger to remove Russian language from options
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company stopped working with clients from Russia

The corporate messenger Slack will remove Russian language support from the app on June 28. The messenger added it in June 2021.
Users will be able to continue to communicate in the language of their choice or translate the Slack interface in its browser version using a translator, the company announced.
On March 7, 2022, Slack's owner, Salesforce, published a notice of termination of work with clients from Russia. At the time, it did not mention any restrictions on Slack.
On March 15, users from Russia began reporting the deletion of workspaces in Slack, which affected the Sbera team.
On March 16, the messenger announced restrictions for Russian clients: some were denied access due to sanctions, and users with paid subscriptions were switched to a free plan without blocking.
In February 2023, users from Russia complained that Slack started warning about the removal of free features as of March 21, 2023.
