DTEK's thermal power plants have produced 5.7 billion kWh of electricity since the beginning of the year.
This was reported by the company's press service.
Energy workers explained that this volume equates to the average consumption of about 1.9 million families over a year. In addition, electricity production in May was 20% higher than in May of the previous year.
"We continue to intensively prepare the thermal power plants for winter and support the power system with existing capacities," commented the press service.

Mind previously reported that the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities would set the gas transport tariff from Moldova at $4.45 per 1000 cubic meters per day. The tariff indicated does not include VAT, it will apply at the international connection point Oleksiyivka and will allow for the import of gas from Moldova.
