Overall, it will take at least one to two months to repair and launch the energy infrastructure in Kherson Oblast

From 26 June, residents of the affected areas in Kherson will gradually start receiving gas supply services.
This was announced by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
According to him, in total, it will take at least one to two months to repair and launch the flooded energy infrastructure of Kherson Oblast and Kherson.
Some of the main obstacles to the quick restoration of gas supply are the absence of people in the buildings who could turn off or check the devices, as well as wet ground.
"Work is ongoing to restore the power supply, 80% of the equipment has been saved. Currently, all hopes are on favourable weather conditions and the perseverance of the workers who are working without weekends," Prokudin said.
Background. As of 18 June, due to the undermining of the Kakhovka HPP by russian terrorists, 23 localities remain flooded in Kherson Oblast. It is noted that 6 of them are in the controlled territory, and 17 are in the temporarily occupied area.
Over the day, more than 24,000 tonnes of water were pumped out from 82 houses and basements, and since the beginning of the work – 107,000 tonnes of water from 413 facilities.
