Zelensky invites World Bank CEO to open representative office in Ukraine
The Bank is cooperating with Ukraine to assess the damage caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a conversation with World Bank President Ajay Banga.

It is noted that during the conversation, further development of cooperation was discussed.
"I had a telephone conversation with World Bank President Ajay Banga. We discussed further development of cooperation, in particular on mobilizing international support," Zelensky wrote.
During the conversation, Zelensky invited the World Bank to reopen its representative office in Ukraine.
"We are interested in cooperation during the post-war transformation of Ukraine, in particular in overcoming corruption and reducing the share of cash in the Ukrainian economy," Zelensky said.
In addition, the President thanked the World Bank for its quick response to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP by the russian occupiers and its cooperation with Ukraine to assess the damage caused by this tragedy.
