putin is intentionally distorting facts about the Holocaust tragedy with his statements – Babyn Yar Memorial Center
The video shown by putin at the forum in Saint Petersburg about alleged "atrocities of Ukrainian police" is merely an attempt at propaganda with a political goal

The Holocaust Memorial Center Babyn Yar has described the remarks on the Holocaust tragedy made by bladimir putin, the President of the terrorist state, at the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum as "nonsensical lies" and has called for his classification as a Holocaust denier.
This is reported in the statement of the centre, which is available to Mind.
The organisation urged putin to "study the Holocaust in his own country, where over 100 sites of mass murder of Jews have been recorded," since he accuses Ukraine while hiding "his own acts of genocide". The statement emphasises that distorting this information for political purposes seriously infringes on the dignity of the Holocaust victims.
The senior scientific advisor on historical matters of the Holocaust Memorial Center, Oleksandr Kruhlov, points out that the film shown at the forum about the "atrocities of Ukrainian police" is purely propagandistic and tries to justify russian aggression against Ukraine, as the executions were conducted exclusively by the German police.
Background. Mind previously reported that the Jewish community had criticized putin's words about Zelensky's "Jewish origin".
