The offensive operation in the Melitopol, Berdiansk, and Bakhmut sectors continues. Specifically, the defenders are successfully advancing on the Bakhmut axis.
This was reported by Andriy Kovaliov, AFU General Staff spokesperson.
He clarified that Ukrainian troops were carrying out offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction in the vicinities of Rozdolivka, north of Soledar, south of Paraskoviivka, Zalizniansk, Berkhivka, Klishchiivka, and Kurdiumivka.
He reported that the Defence Forces continued to hold back the advance of russian troops in the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions.
Background. The AFU were successful in two directions in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
