In Ukraine, large-scale training has begun in preparation for a terrorist attack on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
This is reported by the NNEGC Energoatom.
The training will be carried out on the territories of Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Participants will include power plant employees, representatives of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate as well as the State Emergency Service, police, medical personnel and others.
During the exercises, the services involved will practice response mechanisms to a terrorist attack and algorithms for population protection.
Background. Mind previously reported that Ukraine will hold large-scale exercises in case of the Zaporizhzhia NPP being sabotaged by russians. Protocols for joint actions of the special services have already been drawn up, now they need to be tested in practice.
