Ukraine's Defenders advance by over a kilometre on southern flank of Bakhmut sector – Deputy Minister Maliar
The enemy is trapped in Bakhmut with no way out

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced in several areas on the southern flank of the Bakhmut axis. The advance is said to be more than a kilometre.
This was reported by Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar.
She says that the occupiers continue to advance in the Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Kupyansk, Lyman and Svatove directions to no avail. Hot fighting continues.
Additionally, the defenders continue to advance in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors. Fierce hostilities are ongoing, but they manage to consolidate their gains and carry out counter-battery operations.
The Deputy adds that 5.3 times more enemy soldiers are being killed in the South than Ukrainian defenders.
